This is a hands-on Chinese calligraphy class for travelers who want to do more than just look at China from the outside.
You will learn how to hold the brush, understand the basic evolution of Chinese characters, practice simple strokes, and create your own finished calligraphy work to take home.
The class takes place at Yanyuan Chinese Calligraphy Workshop in Xicheng District, Beijing, near Qianmen, Tiananmen Square, Dashilar, and the Palace Museum area.
No previous experience is needed. English instruction is available, and the class is designed for beginners, families, couples, solo travelers, and culture lovers.
